Advice on NS Pajero

I have recently purchased a second hand NS Pajero with 103K's on the clock.  I haven't had it off road as yet as it is still too "nice".  I was wondering if anyone has had issues with the handling on the road.  Several times I have been driving at speed, approx 90 - 100 kph and have hit bad corrugations on the road and thought the vehicle was going to go sideways.  The first time it happened was at 90 kph, cruise on, slight down hill and slight bend to the left.  When I hit the corrugations I thought I was going to end up in the on coming lane or shoot across the road into oblivion.  since that near death I have been more cautious on rough roads.  My wife has driven the car on her own and said she has experienced similar movement in the handling.

I am wondering if it is something to do with the ASC or whether I should get it checked out by Mitsubishi.

    Any ideas?

Got a say. We got 100thks out of our 2010 Palermo. Upgraded with 40mm lift ironman springs and shocks. Perfect for towing. Rear door now clears the hitch and cas is really stable.

Hi Robert & Judith Thanks for the incisive advice but you think a car made in 2007 would be able to drive on a sign posted major arterial road at 90kph in a 100kph zone??? The good news is that I have finally resolved the issue. It turned out to be a leaking shock absorber - fixed under warranty and I can now drive with some confidence in the car again. Thanks again.
